A LITTLE CONTEXT

Ideas are personal.
The work is practical.

I’m a brand and social media strategist, writer and founder of TM Marketing. I studied and worked in Toronto, Canada, and bring that international experience to the way I understand audiences, brands and communication.

At York University in Toronto, I completed postgraduate certificates in Digital & Content Marketing and Public Relations. Combined with my background in graphic design, that training connects the strategic, editorial and visual parts of a brief: what a brand says, what it can show and why someone would care.

Through TM Marketing, I work on brand and content strategy, social storytelling, communication and creative direction. I’m available for remote projects and ongoing collaborations with international brands and teams. We start with the business question and the market you want to reach.

My work collection distinguishes real published projects from self-initiated studies. Build Lab shows product-education content; Unfiltered: Twisha is my independent editorial writing. The concept studio gives research a practical creative response without presenting fictional briefs as client commissions.

YORK UNIVERSITY / TORONTO, CANADA

Two disciplines.
One connected perspective.

POSTGRADUATE CERTIFICATE

Digital & Content Marketing

York University, Toronto, Canada. Part of the foundation for my approach to audience insight, content and digital communication.

POSTGRADUATE CERTIFICATE

Public Relations

York University, Toronto, Canada. A foundation for clear narratives, editorial judgment and considered brand communication.

THE EDITORIAL APPROACH

Show the facts.
Own the interpretation.

The Brand Files is my independent examination of real brand and campaign decisions. The Marketing Radar collects the shorter observations prepared for my social channels. The podcast gives those questions another format.

In The Brand Files, direct sources and dates give readers a way to check the story. A brand claim, an announced plan and an independently measured result are different kinds of evidence. My interpretation should make that distinction clear.

Images are credited in context. An original analytical illustration is identified as an illustration, rather than presented as campaign photography. Featuring a brand does not imply a client relationship, sponsorship or endorsement.

If you spot a factual error or a broken source, email me with the page and supporting source. Verified corrections can be made with the relevant context retained.
